Adelina is incorporated in a world that compounds Telecommunications and Computer Science, and recently she is researching how to apply them in the health sector. With an increasing interest in information technology since high school, she continued her studies at the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Pristina, where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications, in 2011. She continued her journey taking advantage of full scholarship for master studies at City College- International Faculty of the University of Sheffield. The master’s program included software engineering as well as Telecommunications. Her master's thesis resulted in contribution to the relevant scientific field and publications in Springer publishing house, as a book chapter. In 2013 she got involved in the Research Centre of South-Eastern Europe (SEERC), part of the University of Sheffield for her PhD studies. Her research topic has to do with proposing a wireless platform which will be based on various sensors aimed at continuous monitoring of patients with chronic illnesses who live in developing countries-the case of Kosovo. Her professional engagement includes lectures on Universum College within the Department of Computer Science and the development of software on private company K-Media Labs. Adelina has participated and presented in various research conferences. In 2013 she participated in the Multicopter Girls camp that was organized by the Technical University of Ilmenau, Germany.
