Designer working to make the experience of marketing not suck. Curious human with some knowledge about the internet and digital computer things. Been building full stack websites for 11 years.
I design websites for clients with marketing goals in mind, then build them, optimize them, and make sure they continue to achieve goals. This means a lot of counseling clients on the options, recommending the best one, and nailing targets. It also means I write a lot of bespoke websites with smart Sass and Coffeescript, including both static generated websites with Middleman and backend-heavy websites with Sinatra and Rails. An obsession with websites that don't suck means there's a lot of hand-optimizing SVGs, compressing images while retaining quality, cutting fat, avoiding crappy libraries, and spending a lot of time on the Profile tab of the web inspector.
