Joe has applied his passion for computer science to application domains such as business process automation, astronomy, gaming systems, mobile applications and wearable technology. Joe holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science and is an independent software consultant and his company, izen.me, specializes in mobile, wearable and Internet of Things hardware and software engineering. In the past, Joe applied his software engineering skills to NASA’s Spitzer Space Telescope as part of the Spitzer Science Center at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, California. Joe’s artistic pursuits include the creation of art and music based on chaos theory. In 2010, he released 365 Strange Attractors, which is based on generating one unique fractal for each day of the year. In the following year composed and released Random Acts of Ambients, a series of experiments based on generative music composition technology.
